I recently ordered 2 knock sensors to correct a problem with my 1999 Bayliner. The problem was not the knock sensors but the wiring which was repaired. But I still had the problem after the repair and installation of the new knock sensors. Troubleshot the system and conferred with professionals. I was told the resistance of the knock sensors, and confirmed this with mercruiser, that they should be between 7400-8800 ohms. The knock sensors I received from this supplier had a resistance of 100,000 ohms. As far I 'm concerned, these are not direct replacement items.
