Took nearly 3 hours to assemble. The instructions are pretty straightforward, it's just time consuming. This is a great looking futon, solid, slides up and down with ease, and the mattress has coils, has a high end look and feel, unlike the traditional hard, flat futon mattresses. Only slight complaint is the chemical odor that lingered for about 3 days.

Love this couch. I've had one before and it was great for the 5 years I had it. I'm very happy and excited to have a new one.
