KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH a.s. is one of the world leaders in the production and distribution of first-rate stationery for artists, schools and offices. The company is a member of the KOH-I-NOOR holding a.s. Group. The company was founded by Josef Hardtmuth in 1790 in Vienna; however, the production of graphite leads was relocated to Česke Budějovice in 1848. In the course of time, the KOH-I-NOOR pencils managed to achieve great success at a number of world exhibitions. The products were awarded in many world exhibitions, to name a few, 1855 in New York, 1856, 1900 and 1925 in Paris, 1862 in London, 1882 in Vienna and 1905 in Milan.

Crayons de couleur aquarellables parfait et qui fonctionnent très bien. Mon épouse en est très satisfaite. Ils se mélangent bine et le nombre de crayons (72) permet d'avoir une gamme de couleurs très étendue. Bien moins cher que le très haut de gamme mais vraiment de très bonne qualité

My 16-year old granddaughter sat down and sketched one of our cats. Look at how well the watercolor effect worked. It doesn't look like it was a colored-pencil creation. (BTW, she nailed my cat's image and the cat is pictured on her new scratchpole, a gift from my granddaughter's aunt.)

These watercolor pencils have highly concentrated pigments and from my research are made from a high quality white clay core. They lay down very smooth with deep color and are easily blendable. I love the fact they can be used dry but with a tiny bit of water you can create very interesting color patterns. I do wish they color name was printed on the pencil. There is a number and a color chart can easily be found online but some of the numbers on these charts don't match the number on the pencil but it's pretty simple to figure out.The tin is well made and quite sturdy. The color range in the 72 count set and exactly what I was hoping for. I've edited a color chart I found online to match the order of the pencil in the tin.Maybe a little pricey but well worth the quality and versatility.

Excellent pencils. Laydown is smooth and uniform with rich color. Great variety of color. They can be used as a stanalone set because there are 72 colors. I love them
