I finally received a new lid from Kohler within 30 days after request forwarded new lid, because the original one sent was broke. So glad to have this lid.

Bought both this Kelston tank and the Kelston bowl, and I really like the performance of this toilet. It's very efficient and literally handles everything you throw at it. ;-) The tank comes fully assembled so it's a fairly easy install. I purchased a Toto about 4 years ago that was rated very highly, but it pales in comparison to this toilet.Unfortunately, Amazon fulfillment doesn't appear to understand that something like a toilet tank requires really good padding to keep it from breaking. Tank #1 was shipped inside a box without any padding and surprise, it showed up in a million pieces. I talked to Amazon customer service about the really bad job fulfillment did and they shipped a replacement and said a complaint would be filed. Tank #2 was shipped in a box with a piece of paper on the top of it and surprise, this one was also broken. Spoke with customer service again, another tank was shipped and assured again a complaint would be filed. Tank #3 was shipped in a box with more paper inside and it arrived in a little better shape but still damaged to the point it wasn't usable. I gave up and ordered from another company whose fulfillment did a superb job packing it. I also ordered the toilet bowl from this other company because the one Amazon shipped never arrived.
