Fit my leaky cold water handle. Had to get the adjustable pliers. Make sure you turn off the water and then turn the handle to the on position

This replacement valve element was labeled as for the cold side, but it actually had the action for the hot side. I installed the faucet assembly exactly as it came out of the package, but some how the hot and cold sides wound up in conflict with the spares. Otherwise a great replacement.

Full disclosure: I am a Master Plumber so this is easy for me. I had no trouble replacing this in the cold side of our Kohler Worth Lavatory Faucet. Our youngest lovely child got angry and pushed the old stem backwards until it broke the internal stop. You had to put the handle in just the right spot to stop the water. This permanently resolved the problem with the faucet, and the youngster had to pay for it so I think he learned his lesson.

I ordered two cold water ones and got one hot and one cold. Both in packing for cold water. Fortunately one was a back up for the other faucet but I guess now I have a hot water back up. It worked out.
