So, a new central sink stop seems a nice fix, and Kohler dealers suggest this as a proper general fix. But it isn't. A lucky craftsperson might cut this plastic piece down to size and make it work, but that is not what I expect out of a Kohler product.

Does the job precisely and perfectly fit the dimensions of my own project in all three bathroom sinks in my home. Nice tight seal, and the dimensions listed on the Amazon web page were accurate.

These things are too hard to find, and usually too expensive. The price was ok on this one, but it's too short for my sink.
