I used these paddling my inflatable kayak on a whitewater river last week. My feet stayed warm and dry despite constantly being splashed and walking in the water to get in and out of my boat. I wore wool socks under and put my astral shoes on over them. This is exactly what I was hoping for. I never had cold feet.

I was hesitant to purchase these at first but they have been fabulous. I put a pair of sandals over them for getting in and out of my kevlar canoe. They do exactly what they are supposed to do and are comfortable.

I seem to always end up with wet feet and sunburned ankles from where the wet socks slide down below the ankles when we kayak. My usual quick dry or waterproof socks aren’t. Yesterday, I kayaked while wearing my new Kokatat socks with other socks underneath and water shoes on top. My feet stayed dry and no sun burn!

Solid product that will be perfect for wet footing entry and exit with my kayak or kevlar canoe. Thin enough to fit inside my regular boots or paddle shoes.

I was concerned this was an impulse buy, but after using them to launch my kayak at the side of a lake, I feel they are a useful tool for staying clean and dry. the edge of the lake was stinky, and muddy, but shallow: full of old dead vegetation. I pushed my kayak into the water, and stepped into the water, pushed the kayak deeper, and stepped into it. I stayed clean and dry. at this point, I am convinced I did the right thing buying these.

My size is between small and medium. The medium was too big.
