I haven’t used them yet, but they are beautiful. The quality of craftsmanship is great. It’ll be nice to fit these in my purse when I travel. I would love to get these as a gift.

These are great, especially for the price. Very portable, and they screw together so they’re very sturdy. The brushes still haven’t frayed or gotten unpointed. Unlike a certain $60 brush. (Don’t get Raphael travel brushes >:( )

Decent quality travel brush set.I doubt the brush hairs are synthetic as suggested by several other reviewers. The hairs look and perform like natural hair or perhaps a synthetic and natural hair blend. They seem far too soft and absorbent to be pure syntheticThe brushes hold a good amount of water and have decent snap. My main complaint is that the brush hairs are a bit uneven. So although they do hold a good point when wet, don’t expect the type of performance you’d get from a higher end sable. At this low price, I didn’t expect high performance brushes.The case is nice but it doesn’t seem like genuine leather, as advertised. Feels more like synthetic leather.Also, the brushes have air holes at the ends of the handles, so that the hairs can dry out if you cap them when they’re still wet, which prevents damage to the brush.Overall, a very attractive and functional travel brush set at an affordable price

I love getting these brushes out and painting with them. The brush is protected by the hollow handle so you can take them traveling, and the handles are comfortable to hold. They deliver watercolors to the paper in a very controllable manner, making details easy and some wash work possible.

I love this travel set so much that I use it regularly at home. The quality of the bristles and the screw-on handles are exceptional! They look and feel like they are much more expensive, except for the travel case. The case itself is pretty cheap, but it's doing the job and holding up great. I'm really pleased with these brushes and highly recommend!

I want to love these brushes because the size and overall look and feel are great, but one of the brushes will not screw together. It came with the threads stripped, so you can spin and spin and it never screws down tight. It appears the handle/cap is too big for the brush head threads. So 2 of the 3 brushes are great, but one brush is unusable, so I'm pretty disappointed. The case is great, by the way. So if you get a good set, you'll be happy, but it seems like a gamble.

Pros:1. Beautiful sturdy brushes that hold paint well and are a joy to paint with.2. They have great hand feel and comfortable weight to them.3. They come in a nice sturdy beautiful leather pouch that makes them easy to transport and pack. I use them every time I paint whether traveling or not.4. The barrel you insert the brush into is nice and wide so you don't run the risk of spreading the bristles.5. They stay nice and secure when opened since they screw together as opposed to slip on.6. They paint so smooth and clean.7. The tip stays nice and sharp as well.8. Fantastic value for the quality.Cons:NONE!I cannot speak to the professional quality of them as I am an intermediate watercolor painter and do not own super expensive brushes but I have used them almost daily since I purchased them and have had nothing but satisfaction for with these brushes. They really helped step up my game once I started using them. I wish there was a set of detail brushes like these available.I absolutely love painting with these brushes. Love them so much I bought two more sets with different size brushes!

I definitely like how pleasantly it looks. It is really made with love and outstanding care. It is very enjoyable to paint. I highly recommend it as an artist in the third generation who has a sophisticated taste in art supplies. An excellent brush saves your nerves and time. Remember it please!

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these brushes. Fabulous for watercolour, screw on barrels hold snuggly and the brushes have a nice feel in hand. The carrying case is great, holding the brushes firmly in place and this lovely compact set of brushes are perfect for travel.
