Good product, but i did have to add a hole to make the lock & ride work with my Polaris Sportsman rack. Once I modified it, it worked well and is secure!

Had to make a plate to add stability to attachment to 2019 570 sportsman. Had to stabilize boot w/bungee and force boot to rest on padded fender. 130 miles of Lyncoln co. trails this fall w/o a problem.

Extremely difficult to figure the model that fits the machine. Had to drill a mounting hole in the plate because the holes provided didn’t line up. Extremely poor sales information for a company like Kolpin.

I Purchased 2 of these brackets for my new ranger, I had opened the packages and assembled them ahead of delivery of the ranger only to find out they didn’t fit, The Lock and Ride plungers are the wrong size, ( I wasn’t aware there are 2 sizes) also holes in metal frame don’t align with the rangers box either, I was able to make them work only after extensive reworking and using my old plungers, why does Amazon allow this to happen, I clearly requested items for my search and these brackets popped up as a search result, very unsatisfactory results from Amazon’s search engines and they’re processes. Not the vendor’s issue but Amazons in my opinion 😡

Installed on my full size 2019 polaris ranger. I didn't know but there are different sizes of the polaris lock and ride system. The plugs included are small and did not fit in my box. I had some anchor plugs lying around that I was able to use. Also the drilled holes did not line up, I had to drill an additional hole in the base plate that attaches to the box. I'm guessing this lock and ride system is suitable for an atv and not a side x side. The gun boot did fit my Plano gun case which was nice.

This does NOT fit a 2019 Polaris Sportsman Touring XP 1000. The holes don’t match the lock and ride holes on the rack. I had to drill one new hole in mounting bracket to make it fit.

Despite Kolpin's claims that this fits most ATV's/UTV's it doesn't fit the Polaris Ranger EV, which has the frame of a mid-size Ranger, a very popular UTV. The bracket won't sit flush on the bed wall and the plungers are too small to secure the bracket. I couldn't tighten the plungers enough to secure the bracket. Poorly designed and a waste of my time.

This peice mouns to the rack but allows the rifle boot to move all over while riding. I was very unimpressed.
