My husband needed a formal set to go with his tux. This fit the bill perfectly. The color is true dark black. The set is well made and does not fade or unravel. He likes that he does not have to tie his tie. It was a great value for the price.

A great addition for a tux, or even a suit without the cummerbund. The tie and square themselves would look great in many settings, with or without a jacket for the tie. It's nice to have a matching set and the versatility to use it whenever.The material is nice, classy, slick. The pattern is eye catching but not gaudy. My son describes it as 'cool' (he's the one who wears it).

As far as size goes, this is a one size fits all that will fit most smaller teens. My husband is a 34 and it has to go to its maximum setting to fit him. This set really gives a blast from the past- we got it to wear to an adult prom theme party where cheesy is the name of the game. So, it fits the bill well with the paisley, etc. The satin sheen of the set was great for the effect and it seemed pretty high quality. Of course, it's not the thick polyester that you get when you rent a tux, but it does the job.

I was, in fact, pleasantly surprised. Now, my rating of four stars accounts for the price point we’re dealing with, which is not going to provide the finest in formalwear accessories. Compared with other things at this price level, I give this four stars. In a vacuum, compared with all the other bow ties and cummerbunds I’ve seen, I’d give them two stars…but you’re really not in the same ballpark, so I don’t think that comparison is fair.Still, the knot is centered and the bow is tied symmetrically. The strap adjustments are good, and the pocket square is OK. Fabric has a nicer hand to it than I expected (again, for this price point), and while the tone-on-tone does have a little bit of sheen (obviously it has to, since it's tone-on-tone), it doesn't look overly "plastic" or "shiny," like one may expect.This isn't one of those “one-star” items that I'd say "that's fine for show choir or a high-school prom.” Definitely a step up from that (so if you wear it for something like that, you're probably going to outclass other people wearing the lousy stuff).Would I wear this to my finest black-tie engagement? No. Would I wear it for a gig, or keep it around as an "emergency backup?" Absolutely.Thanks for reading; I hope that my review helps you out!

These work but are probably more appropriate for a costume or as a emergency backup than a wedding. They are fairly low rent in terms of quality and might work but if you are looking to impress, you probably need to spend more. I really purchased it just for the tie for less formal events (like backyard birthdays) than red carpet events.

I ordered these to go with my tuxedo to wear on cruise formal nights. The cummerbund fits well and helps hide my dad gut as well. The tie fits well and is easily adjustable. I won't use the pocket square at all. The one negative I have about this is that I expected the cummerbund to have a little bit more of a satin, sheen look to it. This one is pretty plain looking. It will work for my two formal nights on the ship this upcoming cruise, but I may get a different color next time to contrast the black with the cummerbund, and have one that has more of a shiny look to it.

Got this for myself. Every now and then I like to dress up for work and this would be an elegant touch.Pros:-Includes all three essential touches, all matching.-Wide variety of colors and designs (I went with all black)-Decent quality for the price-Clasps came together easily-Fairly easy to adjust sizesCons:-Definitely not high quality, but okay for the price-Cummerbund will only work for thinner people. I have a 34/36 waist and I had to wear it at pretty much it's widest setting. Anything bigger than 36/38 probably won't be able to wear it.Overall, it's a decent purchase for the price. I don't intend to wear it very often, but it's nice to have for those rare occasions when I want to dress nicer.
