I actually got these to hold up the pants for my beekeeping outfit, since they are larger and tend to fall down while doing a lot of moving around, and the last thing I need is to give my bees a "bare" target. So far, they've been holding on to my pants and keeping them from falling. They can be a little hard to adjust while wearing them, as the elastic can get caught in the adjustment pieces.

My riding jeans are slightly higher waisted than normal jeans. When I'm sitting on my bike, my knee pads rise up to the correct position no problem. However, when I'm walking around, the pants continually slip down making them feel awkward to walk in. My belt wasn't cutting it so I thought I would try suspenders to keep them pulled up high enough. It took me a minute to figure out how to adjust these but once I did, it was easy and there is no way the slider is going to slip on it's own. There are metal teeth in the clamp device so once adjusted, these are going to stay at that length. The part that clips onto your pants is solid and works fine with my jeans. The elastic straps are stretchy and feel very sturdy. I thought I would try wearing these under my t-shirt (purely for aesthetics) but that's not really comfortable. Wearing over a t-shirt, these are great. They keep my pants up and are comfortable on long rides. The quality seems good but I've only had these a short while so can't say how they will hold up over time. Overall, these do what I needed them to do and am happy with them.
