The only thing that would make it 5 star all the way is if it had an actual thermostat so you could read the temperature. I have to put my own thermometer inside to get an actual reading

Finally got this item out of the box and it doesn’t chill any of my wine. And it’s left water leaking all of my floor.

I have this set up next to the full-sized beer fridge in the garage, and it had served me very well from receiving it at Christmas, all the way through mid-May. But now, as temps are rising in Texas, and we are seeing 107° days in early June (yeah, you may want to reconsider that move to Austin) the Koolatron won't Kool below 60°. I went out to get a bottle of pinot gris last night about 8pm and it was 64°. I had to put it in the freezer for 20 mins before I could open it. There is also water pooling in the bottom, I don't know if this is due to condensation form a leak in the seal somewhere, or if the compressor is failing. I am considering my options, but there is simply no practical place to put it in the house. I am weighing options of having an outlet installed in the pantry, or just buying a higher end fridge with a better compressor.

The description says it’s 25” tall and it’s actually 23” now I have a horrible space between fridge and my console.

Have had this unit for a about 10 days or so. Works well. Love the tall slim design. I have mine sitting on floor and it looks very nice. So far at this point it seems to be working properly. Very attractive design.
