This is NOT a compressor wine fridge. If you look in the description photos, there is a video of a thermoelectric wine fridge with shelf rows of three bottles instead of 4, that’s the one that you will receive. The rest of the photos are misleading since they show a different cooler. Returned.

This wine fridge is exactly what I needed for my small apartment. It fits nicely under the bar counter between my kitchen and living room, with room on top for wine accessories. It’s pretty much plug and play. You just have to insert the wine racks, which is easy, plug it in, set the temperatures and you’re done. (I chose the lowest temp for each zone—one for white and one for reds.) You DO have to give it a couple hours to reach temperature, and that was after sitting in my apartment during a cold-spell. My heat was set for 68 at night but I had it off and the windows open during the day as I was working hard unpacking. Be aware that the temperature display is in Centigrade/Celsius, but the manual gives you equivalent temperatures in Fahrenheit, and you can always look up the conversion online.I’ve had this, fully-stocked and working for about two weeks and the ONLY negative I can think of is that you have to keep the back 4” (10cm) away from the wall for ventilation. I didn’t know this until I read the instructions, but I’m not sure it would be any difference with any other unit. I may turn it sideways to make the walkway into the living room wider, but we shall see. It’s still a great unit and highly recommended it!

While this is a split unit, there is only lighting in the top-shelves. There is a divider for two different cooling zones and there is no light in the bottom section. There is no practical reason for this, so I guess they just decided no one would notice or care.

The cooler does a good job of keeping the wine chilled as programed. It is quieter than normal refrigeration technology but it is not silent, when cooling there is a distinct hum. Also, if ever the power is interrupted the unit resets to 12 degrees C.

Overall I am pleased. Had for almost a year. Works well and it extremely quite.Unit arrived damaged (dent about as round as a quarter on the right side, you could tell it was during shipping because the was a whole in box and the box was a mess) Seller gave me option of shipping back or taking a discount. I thought this was fair.

Relatively inexpensive but does everything it needs to. Would have given 5 stars except temp range noted on box doesn’t match unit. Luckily temp range of unit is sufficient

The first one got delivered to the door in a box that looked like it had been through a war torn country and back. I opened up and to nobody's surprise, the upper right corner of the fridge was damaged. While waiting for a new one, I decided to plug it in to see it's temperature holding capabilities. I set the upper section to 9 degrees C and the lower to 17 degrees C. While it was successful at bringing the two sections to those temperatures, I noticed that the upper section would change between 8 to 9 degrees or 9 to 10 degrees occasionally, and then drop back or go back up to 9 degrees. I was hoping the second one would not do that.The second one arrived and ALSO in a box that had been through a war torn country and back. I thought, seriously, what do these guys do with their boxes? LUCKILY, there was only a minor cosmetic crack to the door, and I did not want to test on my luck on a third one. I plugged it in, set it to the same temperatures as I did with the last one, and...... it does the same temperature flickering.I am not super impressed with the product but it does seem to do it's job at the bare minimum level. I am only using this temporarily, but otherwise I would not purchase this product to store any quality wines.

It is beautiful, but the temperature is hard to control... it never keeps the setting you choose; it always stays a couple of degrees higher or lower from what you set it to be, but it worked. Now, only 8 months after I purchased it, it stopped working. When I looked at it, the temp was 70 degrees and not cooling any more. :( Very disappointed!
