This is a quality product. It's the most reasonably priced strobe (or strobe-like) tuner I could find. Aside from its incredible accuracy that doesn't exist in the half-dozen "normal" style tuners I have, it's quick to respond. My most recent brand new "normal" style competitor's model takes three seconds to respond when I start tuning another string. In other words, when I'm done with the lower E and move to the D and start plucking, the competitor model still thinks I'm on the E for the next three seconds at least. It's annoying. This Korg goes to the D immediately. And it's very accurate, and with tempered scale tuning, if you're not on the money, things go bad real quickly as you play. You have to know how to read it, because frequency will vary depending on how hard you strike the string. A hard strike results in higher pitch, which I suspect is because the string is being forced back to the center more quickly by the string being tightened at the extremes. The opposite happens when the string decays. The frequency slows because now there is less tension. Or at least that's my theory. All tuners do this, but this Korg really shows it visually. The tuners that visually or aurally indicate POP! you're in perfect tune are not doing you any favors. I should add, that if you want to it to behave like a "normal" tuner, it does that too. My comments above are about using it as a strobe tuner. (To complicate things, it has a third display mode, a mix of strobe and "normal".) Comment to engineers: please put some knurling on the controls. Fingers slip and they are hard to grasp. Really annoying.

I work as a luthier for a local music shop, as well as build the occasional guitar and collect off brand guitars.I am always looking for good tuners. Clip on's are dominated by the S brand, but their recent move to rechargeable has brought about a lowering in quality. I usually use a standard Korg box tuner in my shop, due to its accuracy.Now I buy one of these on a whim, and my whole outlook on clip on tuners changes.Love the simple AAA battery, and battery life. Love the big readout that is visible in any light. andaccuracy is OUTSTANDING.Little expensive compared to other clip on tuners but I guarantee, it will be the last one you ever buy.

I'm very happy overall with this tuner, despite its relatively high price. As others have commented, it is noticeably more accurate than some other popular clip-on headstock tuners. The bright display is also great because I can tune easily in a sunny or other brightly lit space. I love the fact that it displays the actual note you are on. That helps a lot when I am working out leads and harmonies to accompany other players. (I play lap steel.)But the big problem is the spring-loaded on/off wheel. It is utterly smooth. My fingers slip when I try to turn it. Sometimes this nearly pulls the tuner off the head stock. Suggest future designs have a textured surface. (I'm thinking of manually cutting slots in the wheel or applying some sort of rubbery tape.

Love this. First off it takes AAA size which is way easier to find than 2042. Second, it shows the much more accurately than my red snark. Plus its easier to see.

This is tuner is way more accurate than either of my Snarks, noticeably so. Also, it runs forever on a AA battery, no stupid coin cell! Nice! The chromatic function is awesome, it's nice and bright, you can use it to detune, I don't know what else to say, this is a great tuner. I think the price is fair for what you get.

I love that it uses AAA Batteries which are more common in my house but It’s too complicated to turn on and I wish it would only tune in standard 440 Hz. The extra modes are a huge annoyance. Once you turn it on and get it to the correct setting, it does tune very accurately, but this thing is overpriced. Other than that, I would say it’s totally awesome.

Works really well. No need to plug in as it uses vibrations to get the note frequency. Looks good, and is easy to use. Clamp protects guitar finish well and fits on head well. Great gift for a guitarist.

This is pricey, but worth it. I’d updated my old tuner with a newer model and my guitar was supposed to be in tune but the intonation was just not right. All I could think was the in-tune area was too wide and errors between strings were magnified. This tuner is incredibly accurate with a really tight sweet spot. Within 5 minutes of getting it my guitar sounded amazing again. The quality is excellent, instructions simple and it is worth every penny. I would highly recommend this product.

Works really well and smaller than I thought it looked in the pictures.I purchased this to replace a cheap no name tuner I bought from Amazon which seemed to have been calibrated by someone tone deaf as none of the notes were actually right. This device however is spot on and makes tuning easy.
