リモートワークでヘッドセットが必要になり調べていると、このPorta Proのマイク付きモデルを発見しました。Porta Proはずっと憧れのヘッドフォンでしたが、賛否が大きく分かれる印象があって手を出せずにいました。実際に音を出してみると、とても好みの音質だったので非常に満足しています。特にトランペットの表現が良いです。また、ヘッドフォンの性能はもちろん、マイクの音もクリアで感度が良く、普通のPorta Proと1000円しか変わらないことを考えると、かなりコストパフォーマンスが高いと思います。メガネや帽子の上からも装着できて、長時間使用しても疲れにくいのもグッドです。もしも願いが叶うなら、定番のPorta Proと同じカラーリングのモデルも販売してほしいところです。

I've had this bad boy for a couple years now and was concerned at first reading the reviews that it's fragile or something, but mine's been rock solid, no issues whatsoever. It's been my Zoom/teams/etc headset often for 6h+/day at my desk pretty well this entire time, and I enjoy it. I also do media design, and sound/audio designers I've videoconferenced with have complimented the microphone quality. I typically use Audio Technica ATH M50s for music, and consider these quite decent monitor headphones on a good DAC, like shockingly good true frequency response range at this kind of price point. They're a fun, full-sounding mid-sized open back headphone! Which also allows peripheral hearing around the reinforced sound, which I enjoy for certain types of listening like video calls. A real audiophile friend tells me that they were standard on certain Disney experiences for a time, so this opinion seems to be shared.

I am buying these for the second time as my first pair has finally given out at a year and 10 months.These headphones excel in two things: Sound quality and lightness.The sound quality is fantastic for the price, to the point where it is my main choice when listening to music.The lightness both helps with head strain and the on-ear padding is well-suited to summer weather that would make over ear headphones uncomfortable.The microphone is nothing special but will receive well and is easy to move around.The headphones are connected using an Aux cable, and this is where people might find trouble. The wires are quite thin and prone to damage. These are best used at a computer, and even then you'll have to be careful to not yank the cable accidentally.All in all, a great pair of headphones, just mind where you use them or they won't last.

Vorgeschichte:Ich suchte nach einem Headset zum Musikhören und zwischendurch Telefonieren über Teams. Als ich das Porta Pro Headset entdeckte, habe ich ohne zu zögern bestellt. Die Kopfhörer-Version besitze ich seit ca. 20 Jahren und war sehr zufrieden damit.Bestellung:Leider wird das Headset von Koss selbst nicht in Deutschland vertrieben. Die Bestellung aus den USA über Amazon Deutschland lief aber problemlos. Um Steuern und Zoll muss man sich keine Gedanken machen, darum kümmert sich Amazon. Schon nach gut einer Woche kam das Headset bei mir an.Der Kopfhörer:Der Porta Pro ist gemessen am Preis ein sehr guter Kopfhörer. Er ist sehr leicht, offen und sitzt auf den Ohren. Ich finde das als sehr angenehm. Mit geschlossenen Kopfhörern fühle ich mich eher eingeengt und schwitze darunter. Umgebungsgeräusche werden aber nichts gedämpft, für laute Umgebungen ist das Teil also nicht gedacht.Das Mikrofon:Ich empfinden die Qualität des Mikrofons als sehr gut. Sprache klingt natürlich und gut verständlich. Der Mikrofonarm ist recht lang und lässt sich sehr flexibel einstellen und verbiegen. Man sollte darauf achten, dass das Mikrofon unter oder neben dem Mund positioniert ist, damit man nicht rein pustet.Kritikpunkt:Die Ohrpolster sind recht dünn und wirken billig. Ich habe hochwertigere Polster der japanischen Firma Yaxi nachgerüstet.

Actualizado: la garantía cubre si te se estropea el micrófono, cable nuevo y todo funcionando a la perfección. Son buenos auriculares por su precio en oferta ~50€ y si no te importa lidiar a futuro con la garantía, te los puedo recomendar sin duda alguna.Hoy me dejó de funcionar el micrófono, al usarlo lo único que suena son sonidos como de interferencia y si muevo el cable a veces hasta se intensifica por lo que puedo dar por sentado que es de muy mala calidad y tiene un diseño de articulares de 10€, no me explico como un cable que va a estar doblándose con frecuencia es tan frágil y fino. Es una pena porque se escuchan perfectamente pero no necesito con micrófono.

I have used my modded KSC75 for years, usually pairing it with a separate microphone (either on my desk or a lav) for gaming communication purposes. Once I saw that this set existed, I knew I had to at least try it, and oh boy was I happy once I did.I have not owned a Porta Pro before, since I didn't really feel the need to spend extra on what is essentially a slightly different KSC75 sound with odd aesthetics and a headband. Now that I have tried these, I will say that they match my sound signature preferences a little bit better, and feel more comfortable compared to the stock ear clips of the 75s. Those who prefer the sound of anything similar to this family of headphones will be pleased.For me, the real star of the show is the microphone, which absolutely destroys many built-in mics from headsets that are around the same price or even more expensive. Keeping in mind that it is an omnidirectional mic, you won't be getting much in terms of noise suppression, so it will pick up background sounds. However, you will get unexpectedly impressive clarity in your voice that others will likely notice immediately! I'd say that I prefer it over the Sony ECM-CS3 lav mic that I used to use, which I also liked.If you want to keep the Koss sound but also want the convenience of a gaming headset, I would highly recommend this set!

The usual Koss Porta Pro Quality (4.7/5 for size, they hold their own against larger units) With a really good microphone! 4.6/5 on the microphone, with it maybe being a little bit quiet. It is very clear and a nice all in one solution. The boom is actually long enough to reach comfortably where you need it to be; something which often falls short on smaller headsets with microphones. The headset is a little expensive compared to the usual Koss Porta Pros, but the microphone is WELL above average and lives up to the Koss name.As usual YAXI pads can make a world of difference if that sort of sound is what you are looking for. I think the stock pads on these may be thicker than some of the older models, but I might be wrong. Regardless, YAXI pads are a side-grade you may choose if you want the properties they provide over the stock Koss pads.If your computer does not have a built-in DAC to overcome the higher impedance Koss Porta Pros usually have, you'll want to grab a DAC as well if you want full power. They can definitely handle a little EQ if need be, but will sound very good even without a DAC.These are open back earphones, so you'll still be able to hear sound around you. If you have large computer fans or a loud background, keep that in mind.If you are using a PC, you'll likely need a 4-pole TRRS to 3-pole splitter. This will split the single connection (Made to work with modern phones and some consoles) into two connections; Stereo audio and Microphone. I use DUKABEL and ANKER products when I can, below is what I use to split my audio with.DUKABEL Long Headset Splitter Cable (4ft/1.2m), 3-pole TRS Microphone(Male) & Audio(Male) to Single 4-pole TRRS (Famle) Jack Headphone Adapter / Crystal-Nylon Braided / 24K Gold Plated / 99.99% 4N OFC

I've enjoyed listening to music and watching videos with my older Koss Porta Pro headphones.Now with this new Koss Porta Pro Headset I can get the same great Koss sound quality in addition to being able to use the microphone to use with my computer and many smartphones with a 3.5 mm jack opening.But I have 4 Panasonic DECT 6.0 portable phones scattered around my house that I can also use this headset with, but need an adapter to be able to covert the 3.5 mm plug on this headset to a 2.5 mm plug that will fit in the Panasonic portable phones.The "Headphone Earpiece Jack Adapter Cable for Cordless Phones: 2.5mm Male to 3.5mm Female (for Smartphone Headphone) Cordless Phone Hands-Free Headset Adapter" by "ienza" was purchased here on Amazon and works well this headset. I can hear callers clearly on the Koss headset, and they can clearly hear me using the microphone on this Koss headset.Now I use my hands doing tasks while working or around the house, and have great Koss sound quality. (Of course I can also use the Koss headset just as headphones to listen to music or videos by simply unplugging the adapter.)[Note: I am not affiliated with Koss, ienza or Amazon.
