Bought these for my 13 yr old. The toe wore thru rather quickly. Granted, he must drag it in his technique, but here's only an occasional bowler. In contrast, my younger boy has a 3G shoe from bowlerstoe products and it's completely intact, I think the 3g are stronger construction.

Beware the heel, if you are used to hard soles, you might have to get used to these. First time I used a pair it sounded like I was on a basketball court, lmao. But I got used to it very quickly, and I love them. A definite recommendation, if even to hold you over for a better pair.

Have not used these so cannot comment on that. They do run small, when arrived I realised on the box while it does say a US 10, the uk is 8.5 instead of 9 and the EUR is 42.5 instead of 44. Not sure why that is, kind of makes it a 9.5 or something, either way, as a 10 it runs small. I will gift them to someone at the local, Bit of an inconvenience, but I did want to order a different shoe anyway, these ones popped up on special so thought i would have a look. Not worth sending back for me personally, so will gift them to someone at the local alley. So not sure how they perform just wanted to confirm that the black sneaker type do indeed run small.

These shoes had perfect fit and they are nice and light, if they weren't bowling shoes, they'd be perfect. The problem is they slide pad and sole do not give the slide neededfor proper approach and release. Often times the sole grabs the floor and sticks creating rather clumsy situation. They work a little better when I step in talc powder but overall I'm disappointed.
