I like the square hole for driving the screw. It doesn’t allow it to slip while driving it. They are nice sturdy screws.

I ordered these to refill my Kreg large assortment screw container after a project that drained me of these screws.Kreg screws are always good. I do have one complaint though... They come in a sturdy plastic container. Great if youre shoving them straight on the shelf but wasteful if you're emptying them directly into another container.Of course, one can reuse the container but a buying option perhaps using a compostable bag would be welcome. Kreg take note!

Perfect for connecting plywood or 2x4s/4x4s, in addition to using as pocket holes. These can be used outside or inside, go in fast and easy without a pilot hole and with no splitting. They use a square driver bit, which came with my separate order of a Kreg 320 pocket hole kit. I bought the Kreg 320 because it was cheaper than some others, can be used to make 2 pocket holes side by side or one pocket hole by removing one of the drill guides from the set up, and can be used with the handy measurer on boards just sitting there on the table as well as without the measurer to bring the drill guide to an existing, put together area for repair or reinforcement. I used it to reinforce horizontal 2x4s that I put up to support a loft, as well as to attach a 3/4" plywood divider wall to a 2x4 pillar under the loft.

Would be good if they had a secure lid so the screws don't go loose in the cardboard box

In building my wife's new kitchen, I bought these in addition to a box of 500 Kreg screws that were not "blue coated". I don't think these work quite as well as the non-blue coated screws and perhaps it is the blue coating that makes them not respond to the drivers as well. They are OK, but I found the non-blue coated screws seemed to drive more easily. Unless you really need the blue coating for wet, or moisture prone areas these might not be your best choice. I have bought more uncoated screws to complete this project.
