Fits just like it does on the model. The seams at the top shape and narrow the hat. It's perfect for long faces, and construction suits rounder face shape too since looks neat and put together.

This newsboy cap is lightweight and great for warmer weather as it's made of a mid-weight jersey material. It has an elastic at the back, so it has some stretch and is forgiving when fitting different head sizes. I ordered the size large for my Dad who had a medium/large head, and it fits him well. The grey colour is modern, yet classic and quite casual. I was surprised to see that this hat is properly lined. My Dad won't have to worry about this blowing off his head because the elastic at the back ensures a snug fit. I like that it's a cotton/poly blend fabric because it should hold up over time, allow some breathability, and will be easy to clean. The shape of the brim are well cut and the seams lines are stylish, so it looks great on my Dad! Nice find.

I have a bunch of flat caps already, all from different brands, and this is probably the most comfortable one of them all. The materials are actually very soft - surprisingly so - and the elastic is about the perfect tightness for my head. The tag on the inside indicates that you shouldn't iron it, so I had to get the creases out by steaming it and it worked just fine.Fortunately - or unfortunately depending on how you look at it - the comfort really comes down to the design. Whereas a lot of flat caps use two pieces of material that go up the sides and create a seam at the very top and middle of the cap that goes front to back, this design uses three - a single piece for the top and two for the sides, creating two separate creases along the top left and right. What that does is create a more square profile from the front rather than a rounded one, and leaves more room for the head inside. It's also a much older design that can give the impression of advanced age, if you get my meaning. Personally, I really don't care because it's all about the comfort for me, but if aesthetics are important to you, just keep that in mind.As for the fit, it's great right out of the package. Doesn't squeeze the head at all and very easy to give the brim a bend as well. But it certainly doesn't sit right against the head and has a wider profile than any flat cap I've worn, due to the design like I mentioned. Nevertheless, the brim doesn't obstruct the field of view, so that's a plus. Overall, I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. The grey was exactly as shown in the pics, so it's a thumbs up from me.

This is a medium grey newsboy cap in a stable knit fabric made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. It has a lightweight silky type fabric as lining and a firm grosgrain similar ribbon to add firmness to the headband. There is a bit of elastic at the back of the hat for adjustability. It is not a very structured hat. It loses its shape when not on a head. Instructions state to hand wash. I ordered it in size XL.My husband wears these types of hats very often. He has wool ones that he wears in winter. He says he’d wear this in the fall. The bill on the front is a little longer than the ones he already owns, but definitely wearable and a bit of sun protection.I think this hat could benefit from a bit more structure as it is a bit floppy. You can see from the pictures where my husband is wearing it that it doesn’t have much support.
