American Wire Gauge (AWG) AWG refers to the gauge of the speaker wire without the insulating jacket. AWG is used in North America to measure and regulate the thickness of the copper wire. Don't get mislead by inexpensive speaker wire labeled "Gauge" that may be smaller in size.
PVC Jacket with Polarity Stripe Speaker wire is sheathed in a clear, highly flexible, PVC jacket and is marked with a polarity stripe on one wire to insure a correct, easy, and fast installation.
Spooled for Convenience Speaker wire is wrapped around a plastic spool for easy dispensing and storage.
