Like others have said, this nativity is VERY delicate, so handle it very gently. Also, as others have said, they received theirs broken; I did too, as shown in the photo. Fortunately, mine isn't so bad as just the wood here is chipped, so I decided not to return it. I might just sand it down so it will be smooth, or leave it like it is, as it doesn't effect anything else.Also, one of the wise men was off; he was still intact--in the box--so I simply glued him back to his original place with the other two wise men.I'm very happy that all the delicate pieces were not damaged and the hinges were undamaged as well.The nativity scene is gorgeous!, and the light is very bright. I will place this in my window.

I loved it for my 60-year-old stepmother. There are other ones out there with a little bigger box but for money and chocolates this was fine.

I just received it in the mail and right out of the box it was disappointing. Overall I think it looks nice, from a distance. However as you examine it, there were parts that show bad quality (see photos).For one, the hinge is crooked and seems like it may not last. Part of the facade was cracked. One of the wood piece for the chimney shows wood tear-out probably from cutting. I noticed the glitter coming off the roof pretty easily.What was probably not due to craftsmanship was the broken eave that was noticable right after removing it from the box. It seemed to have been damaged during delivery.Otherwise the lights work and it does look nice. Color contrasts seem to work well. The draws are a bit hard to pull out with adult fingers, but may be easier with kids.

We used this for my three kids. Each drawer was big enough for three Hershey Kisses. The drawers are a little difficult to pull out. The light at the top is nice but not at all necessary. We never used it.The nativity theme is great!

Nice quality for the price! Will be able to start a new tradition year after year. Little boxes are deep enough to fit little toys or candies or other small treasures each day. The lights add a nice touch. Compact for easy storage after Christmas. The little boxes need a little jiggling to open, but the craftsmanship for the price is still good.

I really like the look of this, but you can tell it’s cheaply made. I think it’s also overpriced because of this. It’s only day 3 and the glue on one of the boxes is coming undone, because they’re a little hard to get out.

This advent calendar was of great quality material. Nicely packaged and super cute. I loaded the little boxes with treats for a daily reminder that Santa is coming! Love this

I'm a grownup, you know, so I wanted a grownup advent calendar. You know, the kind of advent calendar you can fit a Lindt truffle or a fun-sized Snickers in, to give yourself a real treat leading up to Christmas. This one fits the bill. I love the Nativity scene artwork on this one, and it is a lovely decor piece in addition to the more toy-like aspect of opening up a drawer for a treat every night. The lights are lovely, and I've left them on for the entire month of December without my AAA batteries needing to be switched out. Really the only complaint I have is the glitter on the roof, since it does what glitter does and flakes off in little bits at a time. I'm willing to forgive that though, since this is the season of love and joy and, yes, sometimes glitter. A couple of the drawers are a little sticky to open up, but I expect that over the years that problem will lessen.

Bought this for my elderly parents & filled with sugar free treats. It's beautifully made & the drawers hold a good amount. The only issue is that the drawers are not the easiest to pull out, but that's because they're wood.Definitely recommend!!

Absolutely charming nativity Advent calendar. The drawers all work well. The craftsmanship I can’t professionally attest to, but to my average eye it is all very well. The kids absolutely love it and love that it lights up. Really unique and so happy this will be our tradition for Advent for our family.The drawers are big enough to fit two Hershey kisses in and a small folded up note (we printed out a scripture from Luke for each day).
