This star is stunning. I had stars on my trees for years, but this is by FAR the best and most beautiful. Perfect for a kid size or large tree doesn't matter. Either size works. Glitter and shine are beautiful.

We needed a larger than average star for our tree. It seems the average size is about 9” and it looked too small. This 14” looks much better. For perspective the tree is 11’ tall. The ceiling is 13’.

It's construction is very fragile withe the beams breaking off easily. You don't expect that to be happening when you are paying a premium price.

La estrella es preciosa, queda perfecta para pinos mayores a 2 metros, la calidad es buena, aunque si se siente algo frágil. Es pesada, tuve que asegurarla muy bien al pino para que no se mueva ni se vaya de lado. Llegó en buenas condiciones, aunque con un golpe pequeño en una de las puntas.

It's a pretty tree topper, but the design is terrible. It's far too big and heavy for the tiny spiral base and no matter how many branches we tried to shove up in it, it was wobbly and nearly fell off the tree 3 times in the 10 minutes we spent trying to secure it. We have a 9 foot artificial tree and the scale was perfect, but the spiral bottom needs to be 2-3 times longer than it is if it's going to support the weight. I was also a little disappointed with the quality--it's not two-sided, just has a plastic disc across the back, so only looks nice from the front angle. Up close it looks cheap and glitter goes everywhere. I expected it to be a little nicer for the price, but regardless, it's not safe to leave on our tree (especially with two small children), so it's being returned. The search continues.

Let me begin by saying that this star is absolutely stunning on my 9' tree and it is exactly as described. The size is perfect on the larger tree and the star was packaged in a manner that prevented any damage short of crushing.I took away two stars because of the difficulty mounting this on the tree. After reading other reviews I was prepared to do battle when it arrived! The stem that supports a topper on my artificial tree was in no way strong enough to support this star so I ended up folding that piece down and mounting the bracket on the center pole of the tree. That worked, after a great deal of pushing and tugging, but I was still not confident that it would stay in place so I wrapped with a zip tie as a precautionary measure.The manufacturer needs to do some serious reconfiguration of the mounting bracket! Others have said the star is too heavy but I believe the problem lies in the shape and size of the mounting coil. It is cone shaped and only about 3" high therefore preventing the top of the tree from going far enough into the bracket to support the star. This results in the star becoming top heavy.All that being said, I am not an engineer, just my humble opinion!

We just received the tree topper and it is even better in person. It is atop a 9' tree but I believe it can even work with a 12 footer. The star produces a soft white glow that was just the finishing touches our tree needed. My wife and I had been searching for a tree topper for quite sometime at the various local store without much luck. This 14" 7 point Capiz star topper is hands down better looking than anything we came across previously. For those wondering, it is a one sided topper that is a with plastic backing. It works well for our situation because we have the tree up against a wall. For those needing a 360 degree topper, this might not be the best option for you. It is a bit heavy but we just stuffed in several of the branches (artificial) and it is well supported and straight. We are extremely pleased with this product and highly recommend it to take your Christmas tree to the next level.
