I collect African American/ethnic Nutcrackers. I ordered this K.A. topper based on the reviews because what people ordered was traditional but what people got had a darker face which was perfect for what I wanted. It was packed perfectly, with care. It's delicate and as beautiful as can be. I am so glad I read the reviews and decided to purchase it! I feel it was reasonably priced and a great value for the money.

If you haven't bought a Kurt Adler, you should. Absolutely stunning. I have so many. I now have 2 toppers, both Kurt Adler and I couldn't be happier. Great quality for the price. This one is a little lighter than the other one I bought, more delicate but well made and painted just beautifully. Who doesn't love a Nutcracker?EDIT: I BOUGHT THE TREE TOPPER SUPPORT FOR THIS TREE TOPPER AND ANOTHER THAT I BOUGHT AND NEITHER FITS THE SUPPORTS. JUST FOUND OUT THAT THE RETURN DATE HAD ALREADY PASSED (1 MONTH).

I have different Christmas trees with different themes in many of the rooms in my house. My tree in the living room has a nutcracker theme. I just put a large ribbon on my tree last year because I couldn't find the perfect topper. This year I saw this 13 inch Kurt Adler glass nutcracker treetop on Amazon and I knew it was the one I was looking for. It is the perfect height and the colors on it are super bright. Yea!! I recommend this treetop to anybody that wants a bright tall one and especially if they like nutcrackers.

It was a delayed delivery but arrived before Christmas. Like others who noted, there was some smearing but on my item it was on the back and not the face. My biggest problem is that it is too heavy for the tree, so unfortunately I am not using it. It is a good size and cheerful. Just for those who wish to know, I have an artificial tree and perhaps if it had less authentic branches the topper could have been more stable with thicker wires to hold it but it just sort of...falls to one side and in danger of falling off. I will likely donate it.
