We bought this after our old angel treetopper died after 20 odd years of service. While taller then the old one it sits snugly on our tree and looks great.

Adler Christmas tree Angel toppers are always beautiful. This one was no exception. Just hope the lights last longer on this one that our previous topper.

I have not put her on the tree. I purchased it for next year. I did light her up and looked under where the top of our tree would go and could see no problem. She is beautiful and will add to our tree.

We love it! The dress and all "clothing" details are well made. I love the feather detailing on the wings because they make it look more "real", if you will. The lights are perfectly placed and it gives our tree the perfect look. We have a 5feet tree on top of a 2 feet pedestal (to keep it away form the dog). We had initially bought the 9inch angel but it looked tiny. This is a better size for our tree/pedestal combo. I would have given it 5 stars but the description says "gold angel" and in the pictures, the dress looks pearl or at least off-white with clearly golden detailing on the bottom of the dress. The main color of the dress is actually WHITE with gold detailing. My tree décor is red and gold so the pearl/gold combo seemed like the perfect fit when I ordered it. I will be keeping it because it still looks good on top of my tree.As for the comments about the short cable, they are absolutely true. The way we made it work is that the lights that we used for our tree have a double outlet/plug, so pretty much an outlet on each end. We used the bottom one to plug it into the wall and the outlet that was left at the top of the tree and that we hid under the angel, is what we used for it. This was a recent purchase so I can't speak to the lights' longevity.

Growing up, most trees I saw were topped with a gorgeous transcendent angel. I'm not sure when this turned into a star and then a free-for-all. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it has been quite a transition over the years. After years of missing that perfectly perched angel, I decided that this year would be the year of the angel tree topper again!Honestly, I have spent years casually looking at these angels whenever I happened to see them at the store. They were one of two things. Kind of ugly and just plain creepy. Sorry, angels of the world, it had to be said. Some of them just look ridiculously cheap too! Then on the other end of the spectrum were glorious angels that broke the bank. I hesitantly started looking on Amazon and amazed at the selection. Why hadn't I looked here before?!It took a lot of thought, but we my family finally decided on this angel. We just fell in love with her when we opened the box! Her features are delicately painted on and her dress is sparkly, but not gaudy. Like many other reviewers, we also had to change out the lightbulb because the blinking just did not work for us. No biggie, though! She will now top our tree for many years to come.

Our first angel from Kurt Adler was pretty, but she was getting a bit dirty and the lights no longer worked so we bought this one. She is perfect for the top of our 9 foot artificial and much prettier than our first one. I was a bit disappointed with the construction underneath, but a few minutes of pulling and repositioning staples solved that problem. What matters most is just how pretty she is. The dress is gorgeous and the wings are feathery. The lights at the bottom provide a beautiful glow and the two in her hands look like candles. Came with extra bulbs, which is good since I could not find 12v mini bulbs anywhere when I looked.

When my son was a little boy we had an Christmas Angel holding a banner that said "Glory" that fit on top of the Nativity scene. He and his sister both called her "Gloria". Now that my son is married with little children of his own I wanted to get something special for his family. This tree topper is absolutely perfect. Her wings are made of real white feathers, she has a perfect angelic face and the jewels on her gown twinkle even without the lights being turned on. I can hardly wait to see "Gloria" on top of their Christmas tree.
