I tried to drill these into the drywall, but the tip didn't through the drywall very easily. It was better when I drilled a pilot hole. Once they go in to the threated part, they secure the rest of the way quite well and feel solid. I am used to useing the white ones that split open when you insert the screw. These don't do that, so you are relying on the strength of the threads to keep them imbedded. I like that the included screws are the cone shaped heads. That makes them go in pretty flush. I used them to install 3 4' sections of track lighting. So far so good.

This was a nice, generous pack of screws and drywall anchors. They even provided the drill bit. Hung all my heavy pictures and artwork very easily.

These drywall anchors are excellent. They are easy to use and provide more than enough support for up to 75lbs each in a hollow wall situation. This pack of 70 anchors and 70 screws even includes a drill bit for easy installation. These anchors are self drilling, you simply press them into the drywall and them screw them in. They are very stable and give a sense of stability when installed properly. The screws provided are flat head screws. These anchors are perfect for shelving, pictures, wall art etc. The price point is also a great feature of these anchors. We highly recommend these anchors.

These are my go to anchors for all my wall hanging project - even if the item came with other anchors, I use these instead. They are just way sturdier than any other. They are also easier to use than other anchors and do not crumble like other anchors do with too much pressure.

These are not self drilling, and they're very brittle. The supplied #2 phillips bit is too small to hold the anchor in line, and I used a #3 bit to make it stable enough to drill the anchor in. When I tried to drill the anchor in it just blunted the tip. I finally resorted to punching through the first layer of paper and it did drill in, but the top snapped right off before the anchor snugged down fully.I've installed this type of anchor by the thousands in my career in electrical construction, and these are nowhere near as good as the EZ Anchor that you can buy at just about any hardware store. If you are using these by the ones or two's and pre punch the paper they may work if you're really careful, but for anyone who uses these regularly they aren't very good.
