These really remind me of Oil Kings, just slightly lighter in actuation. Little softer on sound, not as clacky. The LED diffuser is a nice touch and really does help project the light through the switch.Excellent quality as you would expect from Gateron.

These switches are a great option if you want a quieter, more stealthy typing experience. They’re smooth, with just enough resistance to make typing feel effortless, but without the clicky sound that can be distracting. If you need something that doesn’t interrupt your focus, these are perfect for that. They’re easy to install and definitely give your keyboard a more subtle, professional feel. Ideal for work or gaming setups where quietness is key.

**Kutethy Gateron Ghost Keyboard Switch Review****Background:**I'm a software developer and a big fan of mechanical keyboards. I use an Ultimate Hacking Keyboard (UHK) and have repetitive strain injury, so I'm always on the lookout for switches that are easy on the hands. I use my keyboard a lot, so finding the right switches is important to me.**Switch Details:**The Kutethy Gateron Ghost switches are linear RGB 5-pin black switches with a dual-stage spring. They come pre-lubed and require 48 grams of force to actuate. They have a slightly higher actuation point compared to my current Gateron switches, the white ones, which are even lighter (The white switches I have are the lightest key's I've ever found).**Performance:**I tested these switches on one side of my keyboard (About half the keys on my right hand) for a day and found them to be very similar to my current setup. They are lightweight, which is great if that's what you're looking for. They are softer than other linear switches I own (If you're used to linear reds, these are lighter than that), making them a good choice for those who prefer a softer touch.**Quality:**I've used Gateron switches for a while and have been satisfied with their quality. These switches are no exception. They work well with hot-swappable keyboards, which means you can easily switch them out without soldering. They have the 2 extra posts underneath, so they seat very well on my hot-swappable keybaord.**Installation:**While installing and removing them, I noticed that they were a bit tough to get the tool around due to limited clearance. The plastic parts holding the key in didn't seem to retract far enough to remove most of the force to remove the switch. This made them a bit harder to remove compared to my other Gateron switches, but it's not a major issue.**Overall:**If you're into mechanical keyboards and prefer linear switches, these are a solid choice. They're well-built, pre-lubed, and offer a nice, soft feel. Just remember, there's no tactile bump or clicky sound with these switches. If that's what you want, these will work great for you.

0 Bent pins, all switches are functionalI like these switches quite a bit, they are very smooth but do have a higher pitch tone to them than I was expecting. I'm not sure if that's due to the aluminum case I chose or the switch itself. The switches feel fantastic but they are fairly heavy. These switches are very stable and extremely smooth.

These are awesome linears that give a satisfying and full medium-weight keypress. The ghosts have virtually no wobble, great RGB light diffusers, and an extremely generous factory pre-lube on the interior and springs, which is a huge time saver for me. Overall they’re great if you’re looking for that extra accuracy and precision when typing without going into heavy tactile switch territory. I can definitely recommend the ghosts as a great choice for people who don’t quite know what they want from their keyboard switches yet and are worth a try.

Great switches. They come prelubed which is awesome. The actuation on them is smooth and linear. Not a lot of force required for actuation. The sound is a bit high pitched but more "clack" than "thock". The LED diffusers on them are very cool and work well. Great set of switches for keyboard projects or upgrades.
