I am required by my leasing agency to have one of these for the outdoor spigot. This was the right price. I doesn't get too cold where I live, but we were experiencing unusual cold temperatures (down to about 10 degrees), so I was very glad to find these available and they came just in time for the blast of cold.

Simple and effective. No rubber holder that tends to deteriorate after one season. Prevented my faucets from freezing during a long cold snap in the PNW. Can’t say how they’d do in the real cold.

I've been using these for about 3 years and they look at new as the day I purchased and it works well. It could be a little wider and deeper for the purpose of getting over the hose bib and a hose splitter. I'm able to do it but pretty tight. Over just a single hose bid it is perfect.

The outside water faucets do not fit the foam covers sold at Home Depot. These are a perfect fit and easy to attach and secure. A must have during the winter months.

Generously sized and well constructed, these spiquet covers are worth considering if you live in an area that gets mild winters and are concerned about occasional freezing temps at night.I live in the Pacific Northwest (USA) and we get a lot of wet weather in the winter, with a few weeks each year where snow is a possibility. Freezing temps at night happen, and I weatherize the water faucets on the outside of my house each fall, usually wrapping them with towels and duct tape. These covers will simplify this process.I'm happy with these covers. They seem well constructed and are very easy to put on. They cinch down using a Velcro strap. They are waterproof and big enough that if you want to wrap your faucets prior to covering them, you would have space to do so with most faucets.I like that there are two in each package and that they come in different colors. I bought two packages (4 total) and would not hesitate to buy more if needed. They are attractive and useful and assuming they work as expected, I would recommend them to others.
