I use thick or watercolor card stock… this embosses beautifully without any cracking. (The line in the center is from a shadow.) Highly recommend.

Before running any embossing folder through my die cutting machine, I secure the folder with washi tape around the sides, top and bottom to give it that extra seal. With some folders that aren’t 3D, the embossed image sometimes aren’t deep enough, but the washi tape does the trick every time! I even take an extra look around the embossing folder to check for gaps and if so, I seal it with washi tape. It works EVERY time!! Using my washi tape trick, this image came out gorgeous!

I made a second one and cut out butterflies ( took a little extra time) and layered them with pop dots. Colored underside of second one to match some colors on bottom layer.
