We've used this powder for a long time and not just for our dogs nails. I am not telling people to do this, but we keep this in our medical kit. My husband cut his thump and probably should have gotten stitches, but being a man, he cleaned it off and dump a bunch of this powder on it. It stopped bleeding and he doesn't even have a scar.
