My car failed inspection because both of the front struts were leaking. I talked to the head mechanic and he said he could order new ones for me for $230 each, or I could get my own and his people would install them. I don't know much about cars, but I gave it a try and paid $80 each for them. They ended up working great as they installed them without any problems. This is the Front Left replacement strut for my 2009 Subaru Forrester.The link below is the Front Right Strut I bought:
