used for my Honda Crx to lowerin a few inches. not completely slammed, I used ebay shocks and top hats rides a bit stiff but ok.

As a STOCK replacement strut, these are wonderful. Installed a whole set on a 1990 Integra and the difference is night and day (as it should be cause the old ones were blown). The ride's very smooth, bumps are soft, and it feels great going through turns. They've gotten some unfair criticism by some people who are improperly installing them with lowering springs. The most you should lower your car with these shocks are 1.5" from stock. They're not designed for the shorter travel and will accordingly perform poorly. If you're like most others though that just want to replace your blown factory struts/shocks, then these are great with a fantastic price.Also, was initially confused by one pair as they were black and were labeled as KYB Excel G shocks. Did some research and found out that KYB is changing the name of the GR2's to Excel G and going to black paint to better fit their original intention of OEM REPLACEMENT shocks.Don't forget to order bumpstops if you need them!Good stuff!
