The Gas-a-Just is available as an OE monotube replacement and as an OE twin-tube performance upgrade. The KYB Gas-a-Just has two separate working chambers: An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness & control, and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that provides a comfortable ride during normal driving and adds instant performance on demand.

The shocks on my tundra were worn (not leaking but old), I do tow my little camper 450 lbs tongue weight, so I wanted something a little more heavy duty than stock. Decided to go with the KYB Gas-a-just. Excellent choice. These shocks improved overall drivability, loaded and not loaded, and towing..Easy to install. ,5 stars all around.

These were easy to install though the directions were confusing. Just find a video on how to install it.

I have a Tundra 5.7 V-8 and while we were towing okay but I wanted to beef up the rear shocks and these did what I was hoping they would. Not crazy stiff but much better control under a load than the stock shocks!

I spent days researching a good Shock for my Tundra. Other companies reviews always reported back as a harsh ride. KYB got the valving PERFECT for this truck. It is a very 'conforming' ride that handles extremely well. Takes bumps very softly yet still provides a firm tight feel to the road. I use my truck for highway and light towing. Be prepared though to drive to your local ace and look for locking nut. One was not included in one but was included in the other and they are NOT the same thread pitch as OEM. Others have given poor reviews over missing hardware but these things ride so good I could care less about an extra dollar at the hardware store. Highly recommend if you want a great road riding Tundra.

Ordered 2 of these one came without new bushings and caps; the other came with the wrong ones.
