Enthusiasts can increase individual corner damping rates up to 125% more than the vehicle’s OEM design. For ease of access, depending on vehicle application, the KYB AGX either has an eight position knob or a four position screwdriver slot. However, both offer the same overall capability. One simple adjustment increases both rebound and compression damping. Weld broke at bottom of strut, After only 500 milesKYB Will Not Honor there Lifetime Warranty do to the fact I purchased them thru Amazon .The Internet is littered with the same complaint of broken welds on KYB Struts .KYB Stands for nothing DO NOT Buy

I installed these on my 1999 Firebird with stock height springs. They burst at the bottom immediately on the first test drive. The welds at the bottom bar that bolts to the lower control arm appears to be weak. The welds cracked or separated which sprayed fluid all over the underside of the car and my new brakes and tires. I'll never buy KYB again.

Been using these for years. Great shocks. Should cost more. Have these on a 2000 Camaro SS autocross car and a 1993 Camaro Z28. The last a very long time and the adjustability is great, especially on track days. They are stiffer than factory even on the softest setting.

The highest setting is not stiff enough, Ok for normal driving not suitable if you drive your car "spirited"

I installed this product on a 99 trans am with a sts turbo kit. The only problem is that the shock lowers your car by about an inch which with a sts kit can be bad. The turbo kit is a rear mount and is already close to the ground. My car scrapes both in and out of my driveway. On a better note the car handles very well and the shocks are worth the price.
