Items arrived in an acceptable time frame and even though the outer packaging was rather badly damaged, the shocks were still banded, compressed and unmarked. Crudley drawn and vague "Installation Instructions" asisde, swapping all 4 was a breeze, all necessary hardware was present, however, try to utilize existing OEM parts, they are gonna last longer. The 25 year old E430 that these were put on, no doubt, is in dire need for some new control arm bushings, ball joints, rod ends, and a cpl of sway bars. Knowing this, I didn't have the highest expectations for the test drive. To my surprise though, the ride was greatly improved, the new shocks doing a decent enough job making up for the rest of the suspensions, current short comings. No more rattling uncrontrollably over washboard, strait line acceleration and hard brakings respectable front end lift and dip almost unrecognizable now. They are perhaps a little softer and slower on the Rebound than the stock Conti's or Bilenstein coil-overs, but at this price point, it's hard to find serious fault in them. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to save over OEM, Import, suspension components.**Update**Shocks have been on the car for almost 1 year now and still operate like new. Seems to be a well-made shock, but the upper mount bushing is wrong. Instead of making the bushing that fits into the mount properly, kyb has chosen the one-size-fits-none approach and delivered an anomaly instead. The original, correct bushing looks more donut-like in order to fit the mount in the engine bay, but the kyb version is more of a cone with the top removed and much too small in diameter to fit the mount. I suspect they are trying to make one bushing to fit many cars instead of make one bushing specific to each model. I returned both front and rear sets, and now I’m left to choose from Monroe (lifetime warranty), Bilstein (lifetime warranty), and Sachs (2 year warranty). It would have been so much easier if kyb had included the proper upper-mount bushing. I would not recommend these shocks for any Mercedes Benz E Class.

It was only over this weekend that my mechanic was able to replace them in my car. The part was good except it was missing the bushings on one of the shocks. The return window is over I know but I was wondering if they can still ship my bushings. Overall the product was very good.

These shocks are so stiff that they made my Mercedes ride like a road wagon with no springs. I removed the front ones and put the old ones back on.

Very good shock, wish they came with instructions for the washers and rubber bumpers that made sense. I did contact the company and they sent them promptly and I am very happy with this product. Would buy them again and would recommend them.
