I had an old JDM Toyota that desperately required new shocks/dampers I purchased 4 of the KYB Excel-G but they performed poorly. They did not dampen as well as I liked and I replaced them with these "Gas-a-Just" ones. They are heavy-duty and met my expectations. While driving around town I could feel a great improvement in the car's handling over the Excel-G.
