I ordered these for my 02 S10 Extreme and boy was it an unholy pain to put in, but that's no fault of KYB. Once I understood how to take everything apart it wasn't too complicated to get the other shock on. Just a 2-hour detour. The one thing that kind of sucks with the instructions is you can't tell what the pictures are trying to illustrate so you end up kind of fidgeting with it until you know what to do. Overall though, the shocks are AWESOME. I got them to try and smooth out the ride on the S10 some, and being an Extreme it's all stiff as hell so you feel every bump in the road. These babies though... smooth as butter. You still feel the bumps, but it doesn't throw you out of your seat as the stock shocks did. Massive improvement to my ride quality and very sturdy shocks. Highly recommend for these trucks.

Fit my 1999 S-10 pick-up perfect, easy install and really improved the ride especially can tell the difference when towing my 4000pound trailer. They raised the ride height slightly in the rear, but no big deal. Good shocks for the price.

What a difference! Front and rear KYB. My s10 is now safe to drive. Well that lasted less than three years and the KYB shocks are worn out, the truck bottomed out front and rear. The rear was dragging the trailer hitch leaving my driveway as it's lsighty up hill. The S10 was being driven less than 50 miles a month doing light duty to haulhousehold trash to transfer station. Have replaced the rears with air shocks and awaiting Blistene's for frontas am now putting some serious mileage on it. 3 stars is being generous! F*** it 2 stars.

These shocks are exactly what I was looking for. I hate buying shocks due to past experiences with Monroe and Gabriel shocks being to soft (springy) or to stiff and give a rough ride. I really wanted the Bilsteins but just couldn't let go of that much money. These ride awesome. The truck handles so much better and soaks up bumps that I usually avoid on my daily commute. You can not beat these for the price. Especially when they were half the price of bilsteins. I will differently buy these KYB's again.

Unbeatable price, unbeatable quality. If you are debating between what shock to buy like I did, you cannot go wrong with these. I was debating between the bilsteins, monomax, and gas-a-just but for the price of 36 dollar a piece (bilstein 65), I couldn't pass this up. My s10 rides like its brand new; less body roll and more stability. Installing these bad boys was so easy, if you can change your oil you can install these. Just get some lubricating oil to loosen the bolts and tighten with a torque wrench (not a must be I like to do it by the book). For all 4 shocks with shipping = 150. Although I here the bilsteins are great, they are almost double the price. Save the money and use it elsewhere. 5/5.
