The Gas-a-Just is available as an OE monotube replacement and as an OE twin-tube performance upgrade. The KYB Gas-a-Just has two separate working chambers: An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness & control, and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that provides a comfortable ride during normal driving and adds instant performance on demand.

Ordered a set of four of these KYBs for my dad's 01 Jeep Cherokee to replace the originals.Unfortunately after test driving them on the vehicle for about a week, they feel rougher and somehow even worse than the worn out OEM shocks, even with new leaf springs and ball joints installed at the same time. Dampens vibrations far worse than expected.Would like to return for a refund and spend a little more money to get something better.

I purchased a set of four shocks from Just Suspension through the Amazon marketplace. While I had my Jeep Cherokee on jack stands (wheels hanging down) doing other work I saw a bunch of fluid suddenly leak out of the driver side rear shock.I contacted Just Suspension (who takes 24 hours to respond to each email). I did not get answers to my questions directly and it sometimes took 3 or 4 emails to get an answer. They originally told me to just take my shock back to a local vendor (instead of them handling it) because it was covered by a nationwide warranty. Of course, the local vendors response was "you didn't buy it here? I can't help you then."Just Suspension suggested I send it back to them so they could warranty it (and told me they would check it to make sure I didn't damage it or something). Since I can't have my vehicle without a shock for the time needed, I purchased a new shock from them to replace it until I got a refund.Just Suspension says that they checked the shock and concluded that since it has pressure (yes, it does still have some pressure but I don't believe it's what it should be) and that the shock is clean (yes, I wiped the oil off) that it is not defective and therefor is not eligible for warranty.I have already purchased a replacement for $35.32 from Just Suspension and spent $15 to mail it back for warranty refund.I have always purchased KYB shocks for my other vehicles and have never had a problem with one. I emailed KYB to let them know of the poor customer service I got from Just Suspension and that I do not have faith in their method of testing whether it has defects or not.I have had 20 email exchanges (wait 24 hours to get a response) with Just Suspension trying to resolve this. My time hassling with all of this is of course much more valuable than the $50 I have spent trying to resolve it, but honestly I think I'll just try another brand and definitely not buy anything from Just Suspension.
