I can't believe a part like this could be anything but 5 stars because it's such a simple thing, but there are some real problems with this product.I purchased this product in conjunction with some KYB stuts - so same manufacturer/distributor of the insulator and struts. It should fit, right? Sorry, no, it doesn't fit right.First, when you fit the insulator into the strut using the rubber tabs underneath the insulator to position it, the "lip" of that insulator that would receive the end of the spring isn't positioned in the strut properly. There is about 1/2" gap between the "lip" of the insulator and the "lip" in the strut. So when you place the spring up against the lip on the strut it deforms the insulator to the point of popping out of the alignment holes in the strut.And in general the rubber positioning tabs underneath the insulator are so small that even modest movement of the strut or any contact with the insulator as you're trying to assemble the strut causes it to pop out of position.This made assembly of the strut needlessly time consuming and difficult. The last thing I want to be doing when I'm messing around with a compressed spring is needing a third hand to keep various parts from getting out of position when I look at them sideways.The OEM insulators have MUCH beefier alignment tabs and they fit perfectly. C'mon KYB, I'd be willing to pay a few extra bucks for bigger alignment tabs and a better fit.
