I put these on a 2008 Suburban LT 2WD. Along with KYB shocks and HD Moog coils on the back. The ride height on the front is slightly higher than stock, but it still sits lower than the rear with the taller coils. I bought a Rough Country leveling kit, but decided not use it. I think this combination looks just right and will sit level with a trailer or heavy load.It definitely rides like a truck now, which I'm happy about. If you are a delicate flower and want your truck to ride like a Coupe DeVille, then don't buy these. I know KYB will take years of abuse.

Stiffer than the originals, but VERY smooth ride, and excellent handling. Brought front ride height right back into factory specifications. You get what you pay for, and you won’t regret spending a littlemore on these!😁

Bought these for my Chevy c1500 looking for better ride control while pulling a 32 ft. r.v. trailer. I had already replaced the rear shocks with KYB shocks and while that made a big difference after installing the front struts the truck rides great. It handles the rough California roads excellent and feels and handles better now when pulling the trailer behind it than it ever has before. I highly recommend KYB shocks.

Our 2009 Yukon XL Denali with Z55 auto ride just hit 152k miles. The electronically dampened front shocks were no longer functioning properly, so I started researching a viable alternative. I did not want to spend $500/strut on a new autoride shock, so I chose the KYB Truck Plus quick struts at half the price and I’m glad I did. The truck now sits an inch higher in the front, and these quick struts are a dramatic improvement over the worn out autoride shocks. I used the M&P bypass resistors to disable the dash lights, which were very easy to install. The shocks are firm but very responsive. I’m so impressed with these I’ll be ordering some KYBs for my 2013 Toyota Highlander that has 145k miles.

It's a good product. The bad thing is, that everything us from Puerto Rico, order at Amazon takes three weeks or more to be delivered. It used to take less than a week for anything ordered to be received. Thinking of canceling my account soon.

Installed on 2007 Tahoe with Z55 suspension code.You have to use Amazon sold gizmo to prevent Service Suspension light for those.I had Doorman magnaride struts since January, you can clearly see the difference between KYB and Doorman. Also, both Doormans leaked out - since January!Anyhow. KYB rides PERFECT! I was ecstatic, truck rides so well.Highly recommend

So far so good, added a 2.5 inch spacer up top.Also, don't pay attention to the reviewers that listed this lifted their car up by 2.5-3 inches. They are referring to another item number that comes with a leveling spacer. I emailed KYB before buying to confirm. This will probably go up .5 inches or so and settle, mostly due to the bigger and buffier springs.If you're installing a leveling kit on it be prepared to wrestle with the shock to get it into space. I used a combination of a pry bar and jacked under the pry bar to get enough leverage for this to slide in.I have a 300 pound steel winch bumper on my suburban up front and the ride is very smooth
