This is a review for Kylebooker Fly Fishing Flies Assortment Kit Dry Wet Flies Nymphs with Fly Box for Trout Bass FishingI am new to fly fishing, but as far as I can tell, these lures are very nice. The hooks are sharp, and seem durable. The number of flies that is stuffed into this little box is good. The colors are nice, and hopefully the fish agree. There are many different types of flies, which I don't really know much about, but they look well made. I look forward to reading about all of these flies, and taking them out on the water this spring/summer.

This is a great value: there are a ton of nymphs, so if you are way into dry you might want to look elsewhere (there are some drys though). Good quality for mass produced and you won't feel bad when you lose one or three on a day on the water. No complaints, fantastic value.

The value in this fly kit isn’t just the great colors and high quality construction but the presentation of the set. There are few fishing kits that make attractive gifts, though they may be great quality, like these, and plentiful, also like these. However, this is very attractive presentation that makes a very attractive gift. For the price point the combination of quality, quantity and presentation makes this an outstanding value. Highest recommendation.

This is a perfect collection of flies for the beginner, or someone who simply wants to add to their collection. Nymphs, wooly buggers, shrimp, and more - this one set could have you fishing small Colorado streams, cold northern Wisconsin lakes, even working the flats on the Texas coast. The flies are well-tied onto sharp hooks, and the included case keeps them secure and organized. Buying this many individual flies in a local shop could run well over $100, so this set is a bargain.

This kit is comprised of effective patterns, both wet and dry, that are known to entice a bite. Though there is no variance in size in each pattern, there is a nice mix within this kit.Given the price and the number of flies included I was worried that the hooks may be dull. However, every fly I took out (approximately 8 flies) passed the thumbnail test. The above stated, I noticed some quality issues. In particular several of the eyes are out of alignment. Though this could potentially create some erratic retrieval action for bite, I would rather create that through my own retrieval.Though there is a gasket in the case, the case does not close tightly enough to make it waterproof. An angler's flies should get wet eventually, however, if the box is accidentally dropped or the angler takes a dip, more time may be spent drying the dry flies than fishing. As such, I would not consider this a gift for the experienced angler in your life. However, given the patterns and quantities included, this kit is a good value for someone looking to get into fly fishing. Between the dries, nymphs, and streamers it will provide individuals starting a sense of different types of fishing and an opportunity to land fish.

Reviewing the 75 piece:Overall this is a really good selection of flies that will work for many situations when flyfishing for trout. We've got everything from your go-to wooly buggers to tiny nymphs. The hooks are sharp and the flies seem decently well tied. I've only had the chance to use a couple of the nymphs but they each caught multiple trout without falling apart as I've seen with some mass produced flies. My one complaint is that some of them seem to be tied "off-center" (for lack of a better way to describe it. Several of the mayfly patterns are twisted and the body comes off the side of the hook instead of the top. Similarly, several of the prince nymph patterns have the wings coming off the sides instead of running down the back. However, overall, for mass produced flies, the quality seems pretty good and I'm guessing that in most cases the slight twisting of the flies won't affect what the fish sees too much. Finally, the case seems pretty solid. It has a rubber gasket to help seal it and it closes tightly.Overall, this is a pretty good value for the price. Decently made flies, good variety and quantity, and a solid case...all at a good price.

I have several Kylebooker fishing products and they have all been top notch. This fly assortment is no exception. They come in a very nice, compact fly box that will fit easily in any fishing vest.Inside there is a nice assortment of wet and dry flies as well as nymphs and streamers. The quality of the flies maybe doesn't compare to those you'd find in a top-end fly shop but for the casual angler like myself, these will be perfect... and you're not spending a ton of money if you happen to catch some overhanging trees or bushes as I always do.The value of these is amazing at about $0.40/fly and includes the fly box.Highly recommend these.

I am fairly new to fly fishing and only had about a 1/2 dozen flies so far. I saw this kit and figured it would be a good cheaper way to build my options with a nice storage case. The case itself is about the size of a wallet and all the flies store nicely in it. I have some concern with some of the flies and my capability of being able to see well enough to put the tippet through the eye hole. This may be due more to my inexperience and aging eye sight but I have serious reservations about every being able to use some of them. The quality and detail of these seem pretty decent and I really like there is at least a couple of each type in case you find a hot fly and manage to break it off. Overall, it seems like a great set for getting started with.
