Really really nice for 60$.. it's full tang so you can use it for battle but i wouldn't. It's engraved and the handle is beautiful. Really nice shieth too. The chain holding it is just basic but who cares lol I already see people selling them for 150$ so get them before people jack the price up lol

The sword handle got a bit loose, and I wasn't sure, but I finally figured the disassembly with some force. You have to hold the guard in hand and hold the pommel in the other and twist the pommel counterclockwise. Use some strength. The handle is made of a bunch of interlocking faux wood pieces. Little slots and nubs that slot together to keep it tight. The middle two pieces are looser to allows twisting for tightening.Once the pommel is loosened from the threaded rod, there should be secondary nut in the pommel that is holding it in place. The pommel is actually made of two pieces glued together. You need a screw driver just thin enough to fit in the gap, and slowly pry all around the gap. Work slowly and you should be able to separate the pommel with minimal damage. To reassemble, you align all the pieces of the handle to the grip, align the top half of pommel, attach the washer and nut. Get everything finger tight for now. Then you have to align the bottom half of the pommel with the top half's slot and press them together. Then you can twist clockwise to get the threads tightened back into the bottom half pommel. The sword is a rat tail tang, so definitely can't withstand impact at all. You can use as a showpiece or some light swinging but full contact, I would not trust that weld, nor would I trust that thin screw tang.Very nice looking, stainless steel looks fine for decoration piece. Good heft for swinging.

Very cool sword that could do some damage if used improperly, so BE CAREFUL. Not too heavy, but could use a better way to attach it to your belt.

this is... an actual sword??? it's not sharp, but could be if sharpened. it's heavy, it's 31" of Stainless Steel. the little chain doesn't work but yeah, it was the most impressive part of my costume. and could be used as a self defense weapon also.

I received my package and was not expecting the weight of it. I spent $45 on this to use in a Church walk through of Bethlehem and was not expecting the quality to be that great. This sword is well built and made of steel. The handle look great and the sheeve it goes in fits perfect. The sword is sent dull and the point is also dull. You should not be able to cut or poke yourself but it is heavy enough to put a knot on someone's head if you hit them. LOL. I think it is a great display piece when I am not using it for this Church walk through of Bethlehem.

The sword is beautiful. A great value. The craftsmanship is beautiful. The sheath is plastic and cheap. It's surprising that such a beautiful sword is sent with a sheath that looks like something that would come with a cheap plastic child's toy.

order 2, one that was knowingly damaged on sheath and another new one. Fit to broken one was easy. These swords are great and respectively sharpe. Sheath is partly made of placative and can be broken easily. Sword is a beautiful work of art. Well made and easy to handle

considerando el bajo valor del producto, en realidad la calidad es muy buena, solido y buen hecho, bonitos detalles placentero tanto de mirar como de blandir, una compra muy buena la verdad

So this is a blunt full weight display gladius. The quality is great on the blade for the price the only thing that is bad is the chain frog you are going to want to get string or leather as I've used to redo it. I kept the chain for decor but it will break. The scabbard is made of decent plastic with a matte rough paint but it's nitpicking considering the super low price for a gladius. The taper on one side is slightly off and the engravings are much more visible in person. The blade weighs roughly 5 pounds when drawn. It is not full tang but it's a display sword so be gentle with it and it'll look good on a wall or just to look at. I would definitely recommend this sword to anyone looking to get into swords and is unsure where to start. The gladius has a long history that is interesting to learn about and is even cooler to see in your own hands.
