Very safe, snug fit in the davinci mini rocking crib, and perfect balance of firmness and comfort for my baby.

I would be tempted to only give it 4 stars because it doesn't fit perfectly, but the small gaps on the side are not that big an issue. The main reason I give it 5 stars is the material isn't plastic. It's nice and comfy but still firm enough for safety and it doesn't make a noise (like the plastic ones do) when my granddaughter moves around on it.

This mattress is super soft - does not adhere to the Safe to Sleep guidelines. Further, the labeling is misleading - it did not fit properly in my Pack n Play. There was about a 2" gap between the mattress and the edge of the play yard. I love that it was using some organic ingredients (in hopes that it had lower levels of VOCs than traditional foam mattresses), but it creates other safety hazards and is not worth the risk. I would not recommend this product for use in an area baby sleeps in unless you are only using it for supervised naps, not overnights.

What attracted me to this mattress for our Kiddo's Pack N Play was the "organic" labeling and the fact is wasn't covered in a plastic or vinyl finish.Pros:It is an actual mattress compared to the lightly padded board that came with the PNP.Did not have a strong chemical or plastic smell when it arrived.Circo PNP fitted sheets, that were purchased from a certain box store with a red and white logo, fit this mattress (my sheets were a little tight due to excessive washing in hot water and drying on high heat, but still work!)Cons:Organic is a loose term as mentioned in another review. Unless the mattress is constructed with a naturally flame retardant material a company is required by law to ensure it is flame retardant- which usually means chemicals. I definitely plan on airing out this mattress a couple weeks before the first use.We have a Graco Meadow Menagerie PNP and although this mattress clears the lined area below the mesh siding, it leaves about a 1/2" gap on both sides. So the fit isn't perfect, but pretty close. Our kiddo is 8 months and this is only going to be used when we go to visit Grandma so I'm going to give it a try.All in all, it's a good deal for what we are going to use this mattress for. If you want a "truly" organic mattress do your research and call companies. We ended up going with a mattress from a company based in California for our primary crib that has the wool core and constructed of organic materials. Even then it is still hard to know just how organic is organic... you also end up looking at organic puddle pads and before you know it kiddo's crib set up costs more than the parents bed! So to each their own ;)

Mattress arrived FAST and looks like pretty good quality. HOWEVER, the title would lead you to believe that it was an organic mattress which it is not. The label says 40% organic cotton, 60% polyester fiber. Made in USA. I called the company and they said that the cover and the cotton batting are organic and they use polyester fill because it's safer that foam. I am going to keep it because in my opinion it's worth $45 and there is no detectable odor coming from the mattress. I'm sensitive to chemical smells and this one made the cut. Fits perfectly in my Chicco Lullaby LX.UPDATE 3 to 4 months later:Mattress is not wearing all that well. I rotate it all the time and there are permanent indents where he sleeps. Wish I would have spent more and bought something that wouldn't have already compressed.

I read previous reviews and was skeptical about this mattress! I had the freebie pad that came with the mini crib (Davinci) and it is disposable junk. THIS MATTRESS IS NOT!! It is like a REAL little mattress! It is fully finished on all sides and very firm! I am very happy with this purchase and I really see my baby sleeping more soundly on it. I also LOVE that it is fabric covered instead of plastic so when she moves around there is no sound! I did buy a waterproof mattress pad to put on it just to be safe.

The pad that came with our mini crib was horrible! After just a couple of nights, there was a dent in it where our baby's head was. So I did a lot of research and even though this pad isn't 100% organic (thank you to the others who wrote that in their product reviews) we decided for the price that it was what we were going to try. The pad looks and feels very well made. It arrived very quickly with the free shipping. We are very happy with the product so far. I'm hoping that my baby will sleep better at night. I know I will sleep better know that his head isn't in a whole.
