I'm 5'-10" tall, but was not comfortable with the stock height of my 2019 Road King FLHR. This lowering kit made riding more comfortable. Installation was simple and I had no issues with bag clearance or other interferences. Very pleased with the result - especially at the cost of only $110. Highly recommended for 2019 FLHR.

Will damage the bags on a 2019 Ultra Limited. I had to add 1/4" rubber spacers to the bags plus grind 1/8" off the right shock's lower bushing to reduce it's thickness. I also had to grind the head of the bolt through the lower right shock mount 1/8" as well. Took a ride with the adjustable shock preset on "0" and wife on the back to bottom out the shocks...no contact. The lowering blocks should have had this offset in the design instead of me having to grind my shocks and mounting bolt.As for the bikes stance, it's dropped noticeably. Probably 1.25". That's what I wanted. Feels like a Street Glide now.The ride: Stiffer. My shock preset was on 10 stock from the factory and was firm but didn't bottom out riding 2 up with no cargo. The wife and I are 320 lbs total. After installing the blocks, 10 is stiffer. 3 now feels like 10 before. 0 feels good solo (I'm 190 lbs) but we bottomed out a few times riding 2 up. I'll probably set it at 2-3 unless I know I'm riding solo on a trip.Bottom line: Worth the trouble since the blocks are strong and rigidly mounted. You'll need a hand grinder, rubber grommets for spacers, and decent fitting skill to prevent bag damage with a newer Touring bike. The good news is it's possible to drop the bike ride height and preserve the stock 3" shock travel and ride comfort.I gave LA Choppers a low tech support rating because I've seen where they claim no bag damage. This obviously isn't true. The lower right shock mounting bolt head will literally eat a hole through the bags if not modified.

Does not fit 2018 Road Glide Special. Will damage your bags. Also, owner only refunding partial amount, kept the sale tax and charges for the return slip. Kinda lame since product description is incorrect.

I have a 2017 road glide ultra. I received the item within 3 or 4 days after purchase, so shipping was great. I was able to track it all the way to my house. The quality of the part seems to be great. I installed the part in about 30 minutes and it fit great (I did have to use a rubber mallet to tap the part into place). It lowered the bike about 1 1/4 inches (1.25 inches). I checked the shock clearance to the saddle bags and it appears to be fine. I have road my bike several times and i don't have issues with foot board rubbing. I think it made the ride a little stiffer but not bad (probably the angle of the shock after the install).I would recommend buying this item if you are trying to lower your bike around an inch.If i were going to recommend something to the company it would be add a small tube of red locktite in each box so you don't have to go to the store after you receive the item.About a month later, my wife and I went on a ride and the item did rub my saddle bag scaring the saddlebag. I adjusted my preload on the shock properly and now it does not rub.
