It looks just like it is in the image. This was used in a small homeschool class setting, and it worked just perfect for what we did. The beeker isn't real big so a large amount should not be expected. It took a little bit for the spinning to get started but that was fine for us. This isn't like what you would expect in a scientifical lab. This is more geared toward a learning environment. It worked perfectly. We as a class did a thin liquid and a thicker liquid and it worked on both! As a class they had fun with it and learned a thing or two of what it will stir and what it won't.

This Lab Magnetic Stirrer Magnetic Mixer Stir Plate Max 1800 rpm motor, works really well. It comes with a magnetic stir stick. It is packed really well too, I actually keep it in the packaging it came in when not in use. I'm a master gardener and I use this stirrer to prepare soil samples to test for ph and nutrients. This stirrer works perfectly. The control is accurate and allows for selecting the right speed, which is important especially with soil samples. With soil samples if the stirrer spins to fast it loses the spinning magnet and starts dancing, due to how thick the soil is. So being able to keep it at a lower spin is a major bonus.

Love the ceramic coating. Stirrer works great. Not the most powerful heating element but works good for most things just takes some time.

This is a decent hot plate for the basic laboratory needs. It has a heating element and a stirring element as well, so you can mix and heat at the same time. The price is about what I would expect to pay for something like this, and it's not as expensive as the name brand models, but it does the same job. I have yet to verify if the temperature is heating up to what it reads out, but I can do that with a basic digital thermometer. So far it looks to be doing what it's supposed to be doing, so I am happy with it.

Have been installed for more than a month seems like good quality. I will warn that you should try to reuse your white rollers as the one they send are a little smaller

It’s works, seems sturdy, haven’t had any problems since I installed it.Tip - remove old parts carefully because some are reused.Would purchase again.

Perfect replacement for my dishwasher. My top rack of the dishwasher kept breaking the wheels off when sliding it out.
