This is a decent 3L heated water bath. The digital window works great, as I am used to my old bat, which is about 63 years old, and I use a glass thermometer to measure the temperature. This is a pleasure to own. The interior is stainless steel, and according to the description, this inner chamber is rust-proof. It heats my liquids to the needed temperatures as I do a lot of lab research on the bench. This holds my glassware with no issues and heats accurately. The instructions are easy to follow, but it is a simple machine and easy to operate.

First, kill all the lawyers.Wait, that’s for something totally different.First, throw out the manual because it’s not going to do you any favors. If you DO happen to understand anything it says, I wonder from which dimension you hail. I mostly gave up on the documentation before I attempted to read it, only because I had struggled through the product description when deciding if I wanted to order this heated lab waterbath or look for another!I ordered this waterbath for my home chemistry experiments where I need consistent as well as constant temperature surrounding a vessel much like I can get from a heating mantle proper. Let’s face it, bottom sourced heat from traditional lab hot plates leaves much to be desired in terms of heat distribution through liquid. I’ve found this true regardless of continuous magnetic or overhead stirring technology. Evenly heated waterbaths help manage these temperature variances and generally deliver better experiment outcomes. In general, I’m pleased with this product. Its documentation challenges notwithstanding, I feel this is a well-constructed laboratory product that rates as excellent in my book. It’s single-piece stainless steel inner tank ensures that it won’t leak by design. It’s heating mechanism is fast to the set point and heat in the tank is evenly distributed. Temperature readings are accurate as is its temperature control system. Its roomy 3L size accommodates most of the glassware I’ll be using with the waterbath. If the vendor decided to integrate a magnetic stirrer, I'd throw some other lab equipment out in favor of this solution. I've pretty much decided that I am going to try out some of the larger sizes this vendor has to offer. Besides, the thing just works. If you can manage without a manual, this tanks bargain price combined with the simple fact that it works as expected makes it worth purchasing. If you MUST have the manual to feel good about buying, throw caution to the wind and buy it anyway. For the value it delivers, you’ll figure it out, and if you get really stuck, I’m sure that someone in our helpful little community will come to the rescue.

Everything on this unit works great and it heats water quickly and accurately — no complaints on performance there. The stainless steel tank is seamless, which is a big plus since there’s no chance of leaking around a seam. Just make sure to use distilled water so you don’t get scale buildup on the heating element over time. There are a bunch of these water baths floating around online under different brand names, and from what I can tell, they’re all the same or very similar. That said, the manual… yikes. It makes absolutely no sense 😂 I tried finding a better explanation online for features like "Correct Sensor Errors" and "Self-Tuning," but every version of the manual I found was just as confusing.Another small downside — my unit didn’t come with the black recessed handles shown in some of the listings, so it’s a bit tricky to move when it’s full. You have to lift it from the bottom, which can be awkward if it’s hot or filled with water.Overall, not a bad water bath at all. It does its main job very well, and the quality seems decent for the price. Just don’t expect the manual to help you figure out anything beyond turning it on and setting the temp 😄

If you need a reliable water bath for your lab experiments, this one does the job well. The temperature control is precise, with an accuracy of ±0.1℃, which is crucial for experiments that require specific temperatures. The stainless steel inner chamber is durable and easy to clean, which is a big plus in a lab setting. The design is thoughtful, with a recessed panel to protect against spills and a dual LED display that shows both the set temperature and the actual temperature. This makes it easy to monitor your experiments. The beaker holes can be resized too.

I recently used this Water Bath Digital LWB-1 for a few experiments in my lab, and it’s turned out to be a great addition. The 3L capacity is just the right size for my needs, and the stainless steel liner makes it feel very sturdy and reliable. It's easy to clean and doesn’t retain odors from previous experiments, which is a huge plus. The digital controls are straightforward to use, and I appreciated how quickly it heats up to the set temperature. The adjustable settings allow for precise control, which has been really helpful for maintaining consistent conditions in my tests. The temperature is accurate, and I haven’t noticed any fluctuations, even after extended use.The unit is relatively compact, so it doesn’t take up too much space on the lab bench, but it's still big enough to handle the glassware and containers I typically use. I also like that it has a single selectable opening, which makes loading and unloading easier compared to models with multiple smaller openings.Overall, this water bath heater has made my work a lot smoother. It’s reliable, well-built, and perfect for laboratory experiments that require consistent heat. Would definitely recommend it to others in need of a solid, affordable heating device for their lab.

Waterbath seems to hold water temperature pretty steady with only a degree or two fluctuations. There is no water agitator so you can see there will be some hotter areas. Additionally the lid is really low quality.. it'll work for now.
