Print variety of labels with a PC-connected desktop labeler like pt-p700.
Using tip 1
Turn the gear in the direction shown by arrow on the tape for about 1-2 circles to tighten the ribbon.
Using tip 2
Pull 1-2cm out before set into printer, make sure the end of tape through out cutter.

These generic label refills are exactly like the brand name ones. They fit the machine and print just as expected.

These are missing the KEY FEATURE that the official ones have- a split tape backing which:1) makes it easy to remove the backing, and2) keeps the tape from curling annoyingly (if you take off half the backing, you can start sticking it on and then easily remove the other half of the backing).That makes these 200% more frustrating to use. I am returning them- life’s too short for getting annoyed because you can’t easily remove the back of the label or because it keeps curling up before you are ready to actually apply it

These work perfectly as a replacement. I normally try to stick with products made by the manufacturer, but it's way too hard to justify the price of the "genuine" Brother tape vs these. Again, this is a perfect replacement.
