Bought this tensioner for a 2006 Jeep Liberty with a 2.8 Dsl motor, the price point is very good but the tensioner only lasted 5700 miles. We put it on in June and just had to put another one on this week. Hoping this one lasts longer

Very solid and straightforward design. installed in diesel motor quickly after removing a pulley blocking extraction. watch for counter clockwise bolts and take time to get that belt quiet once more. Also put new gates belt in with and zero problems 5k miles after install. UPDATED > Added pictures. Was fine then wasn't. Pulled part (not fun job x2) and tension spring sheared. Obviously not same case hardened as Litens for jeep crd. Might be fine for gasser, but not diesel. Look elsewhere, or expect to pull twice. Oh, and 30 day warranty means pay twice.
