Summary: Happy on initial install, but the string tore after just three months. I'm not excited at having to fix this given how much fumbling it takes to replace.Pros:- all the right hardware, in all the right places- no installation issues.Cons:- the string wore out and tore in half after ~3 months.

This is an important repair on a BMW. If one leaves it broken other things go wrong. This replacement part is well made and complete. Everything is in the package to finish the job and each comment is well made.

Fun to fit in, lots of little torx screws that are hard to get to.But fits and works like new,!
