Starting to experiment with goldwork and this really helps to manage thread to prevent twists and to keep from getting entangled with pieces already laid down, as well as protecting goldwork from being damaged as you work. For a long time I did not think I needed one of these, but found out an awl or other tools I used fell short of the mark. I bought this and discovered how much easier working with goldwork could be.

Super little tool to help with complicated embroidery stitches. I haven’t done metalwork, but I’m sure it would work there also. The vendor is the best.

Great! Just what I needed for my Goldwork embroidery and well and embroidery work in general as it helps to lay the threads in place and well as burnish dull embroidery floss for a more polished look
