While this is really easy to use, it loosened up the tight opening of my shuttle. So, now when I accidentally drop it it comes all unwound. I like when the shuttle snaps as the thread comes in/out. After using this winder the opening is wider.

I used it for the first time. it worked well for filling the thread, but when I tried taking out the shuttle the shuttle broke.its quite stiff.

I do use this tool for shuttle-winding, and it works fine. Seems to fit all my shuttles, easy to hold, etc.

Product has not been as handy as I had hoped it would be. Instructions are merely a picture. I don't know how to keep it from popping off the shuttle occationaly, as the thread catches it. It does make it easier to hold the shuttle....if you can keep it on the shuttle. It is in the path of the quick moving thread and catches sometimes. My skills in this area are developing, so it could be my coordination is not the best.Novice tatter
