I've used velcro as tie down straps for years. These straps with the rectangular stainless buckles take the idea to the next level. The adjustment range is approximately from 5.5 inches to about 10 inches. This can be extened by combining 2 or more straps together. These are versitile and easy to use. I have not had them long, but they claim to be weather resistant. I hope that they have good UV resistance. That is where I have had a problem in the past with other hook & loop products. Some get eaten up by the sun, making the material weak.As for the strength, they are plenty strong for anything I plan on using them forPersonally, I am using these on our boat.

These are simple. It's a webbing strap with velcro and a rectangular ring for the strap to slide through. It's super wide for the application, which means that the velcro is mega strong. If you put these on right, securing a ladder, skis, wood, etc to your roof rack, it ain't going anywhere. Just don't be dumb. Also: the ring that the strap slides through is mega strong. It's thick steel and sewed in good. No need to worry about one of these coming apart in useBuy them already if they're what you need.

After my buddy borrowed my easy up and returned it without the strap (no good deed goes unpunished), I've been needing a quality strap to keep the easy up folded. I decided to pull the trigger on these and couldn't be happier. These things are good quality and great for some of the heavier tasks. They're about 30 inches long (including the Velcro end) and 2 inches wide. They can be used for just about any purpose.

I have a thirty pound piece of medical equipment that I needed to strap to the top of a toolbox for portability while traveling. These works great for that. This is a very expensive piece of medical equipment and these straps hold very securely. They are made of thick and durable nylon, so I trust the strength and longevity of these. They were just the right size for the job, but could be cut to size appropriately. I used two for that job. I use the other ones to secure lumber to the roof rack on the car for building projects at home.

Good sturdy "hook and loop" straps. Great for keeping in your truck or trailer for those times you need to secure something. Seems strong and well made. Good for securing down a ladder or some boards while transporting them. Many other uses I'm sure too.

These straps are nicely constructed and easy to use. No instructions necessary. They seem very strong and should work well for a variety of tie-down uses without any issues. To secure something really heavy however, you might want to try something else.
